Join Elizabeth Hilton for a mixed-media art exhibit. Cut paper collage and process
painting utilizing vintage papers of all kinds; wallpaper, magazines, books,
and newspapers. These remnants from our past contain various nostalgic and
sometimes humorous pieces of content through pictures, advertisements, words
, and colors that you can’t get from newer paper circulations. The images and type
font serve as the backdrop and subtle placement throughout E Hilton’s
representational and abstract collages. Look closely and learn things like
“husbands don’t like a chatter box”, “how to not be a chicken chested weakling”, or
even wonders such as ventriloquism and how to raise giant frogs. All 4 for only 10
cents!
